Frank Eloy Martinez, MD is a Corpus Christi native and a Mary Carroll High School Alumni. He holds a Bachelors degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Martinez received his medical degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He completed his residency at the University of Texas San Antonio family practice residency program in McAllen, Texas. Dr Martinez is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Martinez is married to Kimberley, and has two children; Olivia and Frankie.
Tracy D. Pena, FNP-C
Tracy Pena NP-C, is certified as an advance nurse practitioner and has been with our practice since May 2014. She has many years of experience in nursing care and completed her Advanced Nurse Practice degree from TAMUCC in May 2012. She is a caring and experienced nurse for many years with work in the operating room (2003-2011) and prior to that as a scrub tech/nurse tech. She worked at Doctors Regional CC from 2008-2009, Driscoll Hospital from 2009-2011. Needless to say, she has experience and excellent clinical skills. When she is not working, she likes to spend time at home with her husband and daughter.
Jessica Gagnon, FNP-C
Jessica Gagnon is a Corpus Christi native and is a Mary Carroll High school Alumni. She is board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has a background in nutrition, graduating from TCU in 2006. This created a strong foundation towards helping others live a healthier life style and decrease commodities associated with diabetes. She first began her career in pediatrics in 2013. Jessica is passionate about making a change in the community of Corpus Christi. In 2004 she changed to a family practice setting and has been working for over 4 years. During her free time she enjoys spending time at home with her husband, two daughters and her fur babies.
Melissa Tovar, FNP-C
Melissa Tovar is board certified family nurse practitioner. She has many years of experience in nursing care with adults and geriatrics, and completed her Advanced Nurse Practice degree from UTA in 2021. She is passionate about teaching patients how to develop healthy lifestyles to promote wellbeing and prevent disease . Her goal is to provide the best possible outcome for patients across the lifespan. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband , children and friends .
